Troop 1789 is an active Boy Scout troop in the downtown Lexington area.

MEETINGS:
Troop meetings are 6:30 pm on Tuesdays

Currently meeting on Zoom, same day, same time.  Use contact information below to receive a Zoom ID and passcode.
Meetings are cancelled when FCPS is out of school.

VISITING TROOP 1789:
Families interested in learning more about scouting are welcome to visit Troop 1789. Please contact the Scoutmaster Jim Ash (james.ash@uky.edu) or Committee Chair Karen Rose ( krose@engrservices.com ) to make arrangements.

Troop 1789 is in the Blue Grass Council (http://www.bgbsa.org/ ) and the Palisades District.

SIX-MONTH POSITIONS

Senior Patrol Leader: A. J. Fultz

Conducts well-planned meetings and sets leadership example for the troop.

Assistant Senior Patrol Leader: Josh Arnold
Assists SPL with meetings, activities, and information.

Dragon Patrol Leader: 
Cobra Patrol Leader: 
Conducts well-planned patrol meetings, develops a fun atmosphere, and sets leadership example for patrol.

Dragon Assistant Patrol Leader: 
Cobra Assistant Patrol Leader: 
Assist PL with patrol meetings and activities.

Order of the Arrow Troop Representative: Cade Morris
Conduct necessary activites/meetings for the OA.

Quartermaster: Cade Morris
Keep up-to-date records/costs of materials in the troop trailer. Assist with tents and organization on camping trips.

Troop Historian: 
Keeps records of trips and outings along with keeping the scrapbook up-to-date with photos from past events.

Chaplain Aide: Jake Sargent
Conduct ceremonies at the end of meetings and assist with church-wide events.

Scribe: Javan Walker
Keep troop dues and attendance current along with “petty cash” funds.

Librarian: 
Keep the library up-to-date with lists of books in stock and keep records of checked-out books.
